Meet our Team


President & Founder

Alexandra founded Scalable Business Hub, a fully remote firm, to provide startups and small businesses a range of custom virtual full-service Accounting and Business solutions around Bookkeeping, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations Management.

Alexandra draws in her more than 30 years of hands-on domestic and international business experience to advise startups and small business owners on defining achievable financial goals, making data driven decisions and measuring business performance.
Prior to founding Scalable Business Hub, Alexandra managed Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations for companies based in Santa Barbara, California. Alexandra was also a Project Manager for a local software company. She studied online to solidify her HR leadership expertise and obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.

Alexandra earned her Master from Institut Supérieur de Gestion, a business school based in Paris, France. She founded and operated a deli business in Paris for five years before moving to Santa Barbara in the late 90s.



Andrea is the Controller of Scalable Business Hub. She has experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll services. Andrea is a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor. She has nine years of supervisory experience in many different fields ranging from medical to accounting. She has four years of experience in the accounting field and is passionate about gaining more knowledge and experience within the accounting profession. Andrea also has three years of experience in project management during her previous employment in the medical field before joining the team at Scalable Business Hub. She enjoys the work-life balance that comes along with working remotely.

In her free time, Andrea enjoys spending quality time with family, hiking the local trails, taking care of her many houseplants, and knitting multiple projects. She is also a volunteer for a local cat shelter handling a portion of the monthly bookkeeping/accounting duties.

Jessica is the bookkeeper of Scalable Business Hub. She has experience in bookkeeping, order entry, and outreach. With eleven years of remote work experience, Jessica appreciates the duality of independent work and a group setting. Jessica has two plus years of experience in bookkeeping, using her attention to detail to monitor and update financial records to reflect accuracy and was also in charge of payroll prior to joining Scalable Business Hub. She has a total of nine years experience with the IRS and TurboTax, equipping herself with the necessary tax knowledge and later assisting other representatives with their tax questions while in a supervisory role.

Jessica has a strong work ethic and is dedicated to her work. She enjoys learning new things and challenging herself. Jessica appreciates a group setting; she finds joy in working together. Utilizing her skills and motivation, she is always happy to help others.

Jessica earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Brookline College in Phoenix, Arizona, with her Bachelors specializing in Business Management.

The greatest joy in her life currently is watching her daughter flourish and accomplish her educational goals at the university she is attending. Her pets bring her love and companionship daily, and she enjoys making TikTok videos alongside her husband that consist of her amazingly funny fur babies. Taking random free educational courses is a must for Jessica, as she believes that learning keeps us young, happy, and alive!

Matt is the Advisor to Scalable Business Hub regarding its client's business processes and applications. As the Senior Director of Business Systems at Invoca Inc, he is responsible for the IT, Business Intelligence and Business Applications teams. Matt builds service-oriented team culture that is customer focused and outcome driven.

Matt has applied his passion for scalable business processes and tools for over 30 years, to the benefit of publicly and privately held firms in the software industry. His experience spans managing process owners, improving employee productivity and process effectiveness, and optimizing business processes through implementation of scalable software tools. Matt is regularly invited to join software vendor reference calls to share with prospective buyers real tangible experience with implementing and using the software application to solve business needs. 

In compliment to advising, Matt is continually engaged with listening and learning. Listening to the client's need and learning their pain-points leads to the best solution and highest satisfaction.
